Director of First Year and Exploratory Advising
Mike was born in Germany and grew up in an Army family, moving every two or three years and living in multiple locations in the United States and Europe. He got his undergraduate degree in Communication with a minor in History before going on to earn a master’s degree in Communication as well. He has served in a variety of advising, leadership, and teaching roles at CU and really enjoys working with students in exploring options in college and beyond.
Mike loves traveling and having fun with his amazing family, as well as reading history and playing outdoors. He and his wife met at CU and they now have two wonderful children that keep them very busy and very happy.
