Welcome
The Academic Advising Center, in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Colorado-Boulder, is an organization of advisors, faculty, staff, and administrators committed to enhancing the educational experience of undergraduate students. AAC members work collaboratively with students at all levels and from diverse backgrounds to identify, develop, implement, and attain meaningful educational and personal goals.
Academic Advising Center activities:
- Assisting students in acquiring accurate information to enable them to formulate and complete their academic goals;
- Referring students to the myriad of services, support systems, and informational resources available;
- Teaching students that discovering knowledge, personal responsibility, independence, and mutual respect are essential elements of a liberal arts education.

Academic Dates & Deadlines Spring 2013
Arts & Sciences students only. Double degree students should follow the dates & deadlines of their primary college. Please refer to the Registrar’s Website for a complete list. Click here for summer session dates and deadlines.
January 14th (Mon.) — Classes Begin
January 21st (Mon.) — MLK Day, Campus Closed January 23rd (Wed.) — Add Deadline. Deadline to add a course without the instructor’s signature.January 30th (Wed.) — Drop Deadline. After January 30th students must drop courses by using the Registrar’s Forms & cannot drop through MyCUinfo registration. A “W” will appear on transcripts after January 30th.
February 1st (Fri.) — Deadline to add a course with instructors’ signature. Deadline to change variable-credit hours, pass/fail, and no-credit.
February 27th (Wed.) — Deadline for students who have three or more final exams on the same day to make arrangements to change their final exam schedule.
March 22nd (Fri.) — Deadline to Late Drop a course with a “W” on the transcript. After January 30th students must drop courses by using the Registrar’s Forms &
cannot drop through MyCUinfo registration.
March 25th – 29th — Spring Break. No Classes.
May 3rd (Fri.) — Last Day of Classes. Last day to withdraw from university for spring semester.
May 10th (Fri.) — Spring 2013 Commencement
